Alex started her dance career at the young age of 6 in Cologne, Germany, where she studied all forms of dance including jazz, commercial, ballet, latin and ballroom. After moving to Melbourne, Australia at the age of 14 she found her success on a National and International level, becoming Australian Ten Dance Champion and finalist of multiple Asian and European competitions in both Ballroom and Latin American dancing.
When she was offered a position to be a resident ‘Burn the Floor’ Cast member in 2017 her professional dance career began. In 2019, Alex was cast on the popular TV Show 'Dancing with the Stars Australia’ in which she had the pleasure of teaching and performing for five consecutive seasons, recently making it all the way to third position with her Celebrity partner, Ant Middleton. Alex also has an extensive career in the Commercial Dance industry, working with artists such as Robbie Williams, Conrad Sewell, Bobby Fox and many more. She works with some of the most sought after choreographers on stage, screen and commercially.
Last year, Alex moved to London in pursuit of developing her craft on a larger scale. It was here she got to be a part of a touring show with one of the Strictly Come Dancing professionals, Giovanni Pernice, within his “Made in Italy” Tour, as well as be part of the popular Cabaret show at the London Cabaret Club. Most recently Alex was lucky to work as a choreographer and lead dancer on the Netflix hit show ‘Bridgerton’ in the immersive experience in Australia.
